REGISTERED DIETITIAN
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist focusing on integrative, customized nutrition counseling and coaching.
Specializing in nutrition for addiction recovery, weight management and GI disorders, I bring a strong, yet approachable scientific foundation to my work with clients. I received my both undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics and my graduate degree in clinical nutrition from New York University. As a dietetic intern at NYU, I completed my clinical rotations at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s.
Creating a fun environment where individuals (and couples) feel that they can be honest and free of judgment is of the utmost importance to me. We encounter food all day long, we might as well learn to respect, enjoy and be able to laugh at food rather than fear it. I strongly believe that in order for nutrition counseling to be successful, there cannot be one generic approach, it is all about the individual.
When I am not working with clients, you can find me shopping at my local food coop, blending very veggie smoothies, or walking my pup Charlie in Prospect Park.
